Michelle Kendall attended Brigham Young University where she studied elementary education, with an emphasis on early childhood education. Her background consists of extensive early childhood education experience, including teaching in both a standard and special needs preschool, teacher's aide in an elementary school, math & computer specialist in an elementary school, and creative computer skills classes to women and children.
Michelle's extensive experience and passion for early childhood education inspired her to write a book entitled , which provides creative teaching aides for mothers. She has guest lectured at the at the University of Utah and presented creative mothering workshops to Relief Society and community centers along the Wasatch front. Michelle is the founder of
The Art of Motherhood, which is dedicated to providing quality resources to enhance family life. She lives in Highland, Utah, with her husband and four children.
Michelle has served in all the auxiliary presidencies of the LDS Church. She thrives on creativity and has written many programs to be presented in the various organizations. She took her inspiration for this book from her family's Christmas Eve tradition of reading the story of Christ's birth in the New Testament and Book of Mormon.
